Four times a year, we want to show how we work. We are primarily addressing internal process facilitators and organizational developers who are shaping changes within their organizations. Together, we will experiment playfully in four modules, reflect individually, integrate collectively, and structure agilely. We will design these content areas anew every year so that you always get a good balance of proven fundamentals and current experiments.
The series is complemented by our practical module “First Interventions for Less Hierarchical Work“.
Module integrate collectively
In this module, we will examine what brings people together or drives them apart: the collective internal structures of an organization, connected with the question of whether and how they can be actively changed. How can we detect collective patterns and beliefs? Can we simply acknowledge them or do we need to change them? How many differences and divergences can be tolerated before a break occurs? How do we constructively deal with value tensions? What formats are needed to do justice to individuality and still pursue a collective goal? What does it take to truly live values and visions in everyday life and make them part of the organizational culture? How can we prevent group intelligence from becoming swarm nonsense? We have experienced this process of creating something together as a continuous balance between clarity and benevolence, a cycle of bringing together and opening up again, and we want to get to know these two phases as well as supporting intervention options with you.

Module structure agilely
We understand organizational development as an agile process: under great uncertainty, a path must be taken together. The direction is defined, but we only know which obstacles will arise, and at which crossroads another direction may be taken, when we get there. Our approach is to continuously test individual interventions. This is followed by an evaluation of the collected experience and the integration of the learning experience into the organization, as well as the planning of next steps. In this module, we will look at the structures that promote such a step-by-step empirical development of the organization. This can be the basic thinking in loops with integrated evaluation, or the meta-question of how to design and steer an agile organizational development process meaningfully. But also everyday approaches such as meeting formats, decision-making processes, or exchange and reflection formats.

Module experiment playfully
We believe in experiential and playful learning that brings lightness and curiosity to development processes. This can look like, for example: participating in a seminar in the role of a villager from Unterleuten. Making values that are not yet lived in the organization discussable through enacting sketches. Experiencing self-organized collaboration spontaneously and pointedly through a playful task. Testing your own corporate strategy playfully through strategy games.
In this module, we want to experiment with playful formats with you, explain their scientific background, and experience how they enable sustainable learning in combination with goal-oriented reflection and make it easier to deal with criticism and mistakes in change processes, for example.
